Bitcoin Atlantis is a conference dedicated to Bitcoin and related topics. It’ll be held at the Barreiros Stadium in the picturesque city of Funchal, on the Portuguese island of Madeira, from March 1–3, 2024.
Local non-profit organization F.R.E.E. Madeira organizes Bitcoin Atlantis with the support of investment funds Ego Death Capital and Free Cities Foundation.
F.R.E.E. Madeira unites Bitcoin enthusiasts who intend to turn Madeira into the most prominent crypto hub in Europe. Members of the organization actively interact with representatives of local public and private commercial entities, promoting crypto initiatives within the local free trade zone.
The conference will attract around 5,000 guests interested in Bitcoin, including businesses, investors, activists, students, and crypto enthusiasts.
More than 120 leading experts and members of the crypto community worldwide will attend Bitcoin Atlantis. They’ll share their knowledge of blockchain technology, economic theory, software development, and financial services.
Conference speakers will include:

- Jack Dorsey, Founder and CEO at Square, CashApp, Block, etc.;

The Bitcoin Atlantis conference supports economic education, cross-border remittance development, open-source decentralized networks, financial blockchain protocols, and energy efficiency technologies.
The main program will feature presentations on the economic aspects and practical use of BTC and various educational activities, including lectures and workshops on financial literacy. An essential element of the program will be an educational zone for children.
The expanded Bitcoin Atlantis program includes a music and film festival, a startup competition, a golf tournament, a catamaran boat trip, a Madeira dinner with traditional local cuisine, and several other informal events for relaxation and networking.

- Full access to the conference for everyone costs €300.
- VIP access to exclusive areas and events is €1,200.
- For Madeira Island residents, discounted tickets are €42 with a €21 refund to BTC wallet.
Tickets are available on the event website. Children under 16 can enter the venue for free.
