Binance announced the addition of a new option to buy cryptocurrencies for Georgian users. It’ll be possible to buy it for Georgian lari via credit and debit cards by Visa and Mastercard.
Binance, a leading global provider of the blockchain ecosystem and crypto infrastructure, has added a new crypto purchase option for Georgian users. They’ll now be able to buy cryptocurrencies for Georgian lari (GEL) directly on the exchange, using Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards.
Georgian users can now buy cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), BNB (BNB), Avalanche (AVAX), Ripple (XRP), Near Protocol (NEAR), The Sandbox (SAND), TRON (TRX), BUSD (BUSD), Tether (USDT), and others.
The new feature should greatly simplify the process of buying cryptocurrencies and affect the dynamics of crypto adoption across the country.
In July 2022, Binance held its first Community Meetup in Georgia. Over 800 participants attended the event. During the event, Georgia was recognized as the leading country in terms of public engagement in the crypto industry.
