The government of the Central African Republic (CAR) continues to expand the state blockchain project Sango by including the tokenization of land and natural resources.
The CAR’s National Assembly unanimously passed a bill that allows for the tokenization of land and natural resources to provide free access to capital and expand investment opportunities.
The law will allow the citizens to obtain additional funding for their business projects, and non-residents to receive business visas online due to the simplification of the licensing procedure for businesses in the areas of real estate, resource extraction, agriculture, and forestry.
The state initiative Sango was launched last year, and the tokenization of natural resources was one of the project’s main goals. Also, the CAR authorities planned to create a special economic zone in the Metaverse — The Crypto Island.
