Coca-Cola Launches NFT Collection for FIFA 2022

Digital artist GMUNK teamed up with Coca-Cola to create a series of NFTs inspired by the Qatar World Cup. The collection features 10,000 NFTs on the Crypto.com NFT platform.

GMUNK is an NFT artist who has been working in the digital space for over 20 years. His early works in Flash and Motion Design set the bar for experimentation in this environment and are studied in schools around the world. GMUNK created the Microsoft Windows 10 desktop wallpaper, one of the most iconic image campaigns in the world, which has been seen by over a billion people worldwide. He’s also known for campaigns for Nike, Adidas, Samsung, Microsoft, Meta, Audi, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Sony, Uber, The Creator’s Project, HBO, and many others.

The collection is “heat maps” that visually represent the movements and highlights of championship players. Fans need to register an account on the Crypto.com NFT platform to access the collection.

The Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup kicked off on November 20 and will wrap up on December 18 with a final match at the Lusail Stadium. The sports event takes place in the Middle East for the first time and has already attracted more than a million fans.
