Bealls Stores in U.S. Now Accept Crypto Payments

Bealls Inc. became the first national U.S. retailer to accept cryptocurrency payments across all 660 of its stores nationwide.
Bealls Inc., the American retail chain, announced the launch of a new payment system that allows customers to pay with digital assets. The system supports over 300 crypto wallets and more than a dozen blockchains. Customers can use over 99 different cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, stablecoins, and meme coins.
The company’s partner for the rollout is Flexa, a payment platform specializing in crypto acceptance solutions. The integration is built on Flexa Payments, which enables transaction processing in under one second and automatically updates as new currencies and apps are added.
The new service is available in all bealls, Bealls Florida, and Home Centric stores and coincides with the company’s 110th anniversary.
According to Matt Beall, Chair and CEO of Bealls Inc., the partnership with Flexa reflects the company’s commitment to innovation. Trevor Filter, Co-Founder of Flexa, stated that adopting cryptocurrency payments marks a new era in retail transactions.
Major retailers’ growing interest in crypto payments is well-founded. In 2022, about 13% of the U.S. population owned digital assets. By 2024, one in five Americans aged 27-42 held cryptocurrency, and by early 2025, around 28% of U.S. adults owned digital assets.
