CryptoProcessing by Coinspaid Achieves CCSS Level 3 Certification

CryptoProcessing by Coinspaid has successfully completed an audit under the Cryptocurrency Security Standard (CCSS), achieving Level 3 — the highest designation within the industry framework for crypto infrastructure security.

CryptoProcessing by Coinspaid, Europe’s leading crypto payment provider, has been certified at CCSS Level 3, confirming that its key management and wallet infrastructure meet the most stringent security requirements established by the CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium (C4).

CCSS is a globally recognized standard designed to secure cryptocurrency systems, covering key management, wallet operations, and transaction approval procedures. Level 3 represents the highest tier, requiring formalized governance processes, strict access controls, continuous operational monitoring, and established procedures for handling key compromise scenarios.

The independent audit was conducted by Hacken, a C4-accredited cybersecurity auditor. The assessment began in Q4 2025 and covered the company’s full system scope. The audit evaluated:

  • Key generation and storage processes
  • Wallet creation
  • Backup procedures
  • Access management
  • Transaction authorization
  • Logging and monitoring systems
  • Risk management frameworks

The results confirmed that the company applies comprehensive security controls and operational practices aligned with leading crypto-native industry standards.

Achieving CCSS Level 3 strengthens the company’s position in serving enterprise and institutional clients. The certification helps reduce operational and custodial risks, simplifies partner and banking due diligence processes, and supports alignment with regulatory frameworks, including DORA and MiCA.

According to Max Krupyshev, Executive Leader at CryptoProcessing by Coinspaid, achieving CCSS Level 3 demonstrates the maturity of the company’s infrastructure and reinforces trust among businesses leveraging digital assets in their operations.

CryptoProcessing continues to enhance its crypto payment infrastructure. The company has begun deploying POS solutions for accepting cryptocurrency payments in physical retail locations in Estonia and has introduced integrations to streamline payments via Trust Wallet and MetaMask. It is also actively expanding support for additional blockchain networks and stablecoins.
