HashKey Consolidated Regulated Regional Crypto Trading Platforms Into a Single App

HashKey Holdings introduced a new cryptocurrency trading app that gives users a single access point to the company’s services in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, and Bermuda while complying with local regulatory requirements.
HashKey Holdings Limited, which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, announced the launch of the updated HashKey Exchange app. The app combined HashKey Global and several other regional applications that previously operated separately. Its key feature is the ability to access multiple regional platforms through a single interface while complying with the regulatory requirements of each jurisdiction.
Following the update, users can manage their accounts through one mobile app. Access to regional services is based on KYC and KYB verification procedures. Features offered by individual platforms remain available only to users who meet the regulatory requirements of the relevant jurisdiction.
As part of the update, the company standardized the capabilities of each regional platform:
- HashKey Hong Kong: Spot trading, over the counter (OTC) trading, deposits and withdrawals in 4 fiat currencies, support for about 40 digital assets, and a section dedicated to tokenized investment products.
- HashKey Singapore: OTC trading with a minimum transaction size of $10 and support for 21 cryptocurrencies. The maximum transaction size is up to $50 million for corporate clients and $8 million for retail investors.
- HashKey Middle East: Spot trading and brokerage services.
- HashKey Global: Cryptocurrency derivatives trading for international users outside restricted jurisdictions.
In addition to consolidating its regional services, the app now includes a built-in Web3 wallet that operates separately from the infrastructure of the centralized exchange. According to the company, this allows users to interact securely with blockchain services while remaining compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.
HashKey also said the unified platform uses an asset protection framework built on licenses across multiple jurisdictions, advanced cybersecurity measures, and digital asset insurance coverage. The company expects the launch of the new app to mark an important step in executing its Asia Connect strategy, which is focused on building unified infrastructure for regulated digital asset trading across Asian and international markets.
It’s worth noting that using a holding company structure alongside separately licensed regional entities for operational activities is common practice among global fintech companies. More details are available in CP Media’s dedicated report.
