Martin Braithwaite Invests in Crypto Snack

Martin Braithwaite, a former FC Barcelona player and striker for RCD Espanyol and the Danish national team, became a shareholder in Crypto Snack. Representatives of the company announced this in a blog post. According to the press release, the football star will act as a consultant and help the company’s management in finalizing the existing products. In particular, there are plans to introduce additional exclusive features for fans to take their engagement to new levels.

The football player said that he’s “excited to be a part of Crypto Snack’s mission to democratize the access to and use of cryptocurrencies” and promote their wider use in everyday life. Football will be the first step in this matter, according to Martin. The sportsman believes that blockchain technologies have the potential to bring a real revolution in various spheres, that’s why he’s glad to participate in their popularization.

The main products of Crypto Snack are the Global Crypto Payment service and the native token SNACK, which form a small Web3 ecosystem focused on the global sports industry, crypto payments, and real estate markets. Thus, RCD Espanyol, with the active participation of Crypto Snack, became the first sports organization to implement large-scale crypto payments. Moreover, SNACK was the first cryptocurrency asset that appeared in the next part of the legendary series of games — FIFA 23.
