European online bank Revolut joined Ledger Live as a provider, enabling users to make convenient and secure purchases of cryptocurrencies while maintaining full control over their assets.

Revolut Becomes Ledger Live Provider

Ledger, a hardware crypto wallet manufacturer, announced a partnership with Revolut, Europe’s leading provider of digital payment solutions. As part of the collaboration, Revolut will serve as a new provider of the Ledger Live platform for buying cryptocurrencies.

Users will easily convert their fiat funds into crypto right within the Ledger Live app. They just need to open the app, select the digital asset and amount they need, and then choose Revolut as the payment method.

According to Pascal Gauthier, Chair and CEO of Ledger, the collaboration aims to simplify access to cryptocurrencies for users who are used to storing their financial assets with no third parties involved. He said that the partnership with Revolut will significantly empower users of the crypto ecosystem.

For Revolut users, the partnership will also bring some benefits, including easier identity verification and access to digital assets. Also, Ledger’s advanced crypto wallet security solutions will allow Revolut users to access a new level of protection for digital assets.

Revolut has a license from the Bank of Lithuania and can officially provide its services in the European Union.

In late 2023, hackers managed to compromise Ledger’s hardware devices for cold storage of cryptocurrencies.
