The total volume of tokenized real-world assets (RWA) on the Solana blockchain grew by 140% in 2025. More than 85% of the assets tokenized on the network consist of income-generating instruments — treasury bonds and private credit products.

Tokenized Asset Volume on Solana Exceeds $418 Million

As of July 7, 2025, the volume of RWAs on the Solana blockchain reached $418.1 million, according to an analytical report by Messari. The volume of tokenized assets on the network increased by over 140% since the beginning of the year. The main drivers of growth are cited as Solana’s convenient and efficient infrastructure and sustained institutional investor interest in the RWA market.

The rapid growth in using Solana for asset tokenization is mainly driven by fixed-income financial instruments — tokenized U.S. treasury bonds, money market funds, and private credit products. These account for more than 85% of all RWAs on Solana, over $350 million. About 70% of this is formed by funds from Ondo Finance, Franklin Templeton, and Maple, whose assets provide a steady liquidity inflow and are integrated with Solana’s DeFi protocols.

Besides financial instruments, the network saw growth in tokenization of real estate, commodities, and private equity. Approximately 12% of the total RWA volume on Solana consists of tokenized public equities (onchain equities), $51.7 million. Products include tokenized shares of Apple, Tesla, the S&P 500, and ETF indexes. Another 3% of the volume is tokenized real estate, collectibles, and luxury goods.

Messari analysts state that key growth factors for using Solana for RWAs include the blockchain’s high throughput, low fees, and modular protocols. These features create a convenient and efficient infrastructure for issuers of tokenized assets. Moreover, Solana is actively integrating with enterprise blockchain solutions, enabling access to regulated financial markets. Supported by institutional funds and infrastructure providers, Solana became the technological platform setting a new standard for global capital tokenization.

The total market cap of tokenized real-world assets reached $233 billion by April 2025. Excluding stablecoins, the global RWA market volume was $24 billion, more than doubling over the year.
