Tether formed an educational arm that will develop training materials and coordinate educational initiatives focused on Web3 technologies and related areas.
USDT issuer announced the launch of Tether Edu, an arm responsible for promoting digital education globally. The company will prepare educational courses, organize and host seminars, and create other tools for developing professional skills in blockchain, artificial intelligence, programming, design, and other areas of the IT industry.
Tether Edu aims to form an intellectual educational environment by analyzing trends and professional experience and transforming them into educational programs for different digital industries. The company plans to cooperate with expert communities representing specific specialties and fields of activity.
The Tether Edu programs will target users from developing countries in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe, the CIS, and Asia. According to the statement, the new division will also coordinate Tether’s existing educational initiatives, which are already functioning in Georgia, Thailand, and Switzerland.
The press release quotes Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, who believes that USDTs “are not merely instruments for transactions but catalysts capable of rewriting economic history,” and educational initiatives are the cornerstone of this process.
The Tether Edu website provides information on this arm, which is being created with a view to commercial activity and is currently at the stage of team formation. According to another post by Paolo Ardoino, Tether plans to launch a large-scale educational Web3 platform that will include paid materials.
It’s worth noting that the depth and quality of knowledge of Web3 technologies directly affect the efficiency of crypto investments and their safety from malicious actors. Last year, a group of scientists developed a methodology to assess the level of consumer awareness regarding the use of digital assets and their technical features.
CP Media created more than 30 small educational videos on various aspects of Web3 technologies. You can watch them on CoinsPaid Media’s YouTube channel.
