CoinsPaid Media discussed the upcoming event with its organizers.
One of them is Adnan Al Noorani, Chairman of the Board of the Private Office of Sheikh Saqer Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi.
– Adnan Al Noorani, you are the representative of the Private Office of Sheikh Saqer Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi and the organizer of the Future Innovation Summit. Could you please tell us why you decided to organize this event?
– The Future Innovation Summit was created in 2021 as an initiative to establish a unique platform that will bring together leading companies and their executives from around the world to discuss their vision of the future for mankind, with the aim of promoting innovation to improve humanity. Leading experts will be able to share their ideas and plans for the future. Moreover, the summit attracts a large number of start-up companies to the UAE to support them in their early stages. Touching all sectors of the world, supported by a few very talented young people and organizations, the summit has become a powerful platform for networking between government, public and private sectors worldwide.
– Today, the world is developing at lightning speed. So why is it important for you to support innovations?
– Yes, the world is changing very fast, and I think the future success of all of us as human beings depends on innovation. In addition to enabling organizations to stay relevant in the marketplace, innovation also plays a critical role in economic growth. Solving fundamental problems relies on innovations, and developing countries need them more than ever. Innovations are important to the development of society. They solve significant types of social problems. Innovative technologies address collective problems sustainably and effectively. These technologies, products, and services simultaneously meet societal needs and lead to better opportunities and more efficient use of assets and resources.
– The Future Innovation Summit brings together leaders working on initiatives to improve people’s lives. Are there any examples of the collaboration that came out of your first event last year?
– Last year we had over 1,300 attendees from over 120 countries. Most of the people attending the event are business owners, CEOs and executives of local and international companies. Our expert teams work to provide the best services that can make doing business in the local market easier. For example, after the first event, we have developed strong partnerships with several companies from the United Kingdom, Belgium, Malta and Mexico. Now, these companies are already successfully operating in the UAE. You can find more information about our partners on our website vol2.dfisx.com and our LinkedIn profile, where we introduce all our partners.
Another key person in the organization of Future Innovation Summit is Yana Leonova, Deputy General Manager and Head of the Future Innovation Summit at The Private Office Of Sheikh Saqer Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi.
– Yana, could you please tell us a little bit about yourself? What is your specialization, where have you gained such a rich and varied experience?
– I have a BA in Law, an MBA from the UK, and a PhD in Economics. My experience includes various industries around the world, but in 2016, while taking the Oxford Blockchain Strategy course and fundraising for startups in London, I became fascinated by the technology field.
As a founder member of the London Blockchain Foundation and a strong believer in disruptive technologies, I am helping digital transformation by bringing startups and research teams from around the world to the UAE and vice versa to implement their solutions and enhance knowledge and practice. In addition, I provide special assistance in transforming science into the business through knowledge-based consulting while spreading awareness.
– What is your role in the Private Office of Sheikh Saqer Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi? How did the idea for the Future Innovation Summit come about?
– I am the leader of the Summit and the Deputy General Manager of the Private Office. The idea behind the Summit is to connect the government and private sectors. The support from Private Office and the Chairman helps us reach out to leaders and key decision-makers in the region and connect them with the most innovative startups and technology companies coming here to present their products and services.
– You bring together leaders and influencers from the fields of healthcare, education, real estate, technology, telecommunications, blockchain, cryptocurrency and digital art. What issues does your event address?
– We aim to discuss the most advanced technologies and innovations permeating various industries. The digital transformation taking place across all sectors is focused on realizing the UAE’s vision of a knowledge-based economy, encouraging innovation, research and development, strengthening the regulatory frameworks of key sectors, and stimulating high value-added sectors.
– What are the solutions and techniques that make the event unique?
– In my opinion, being able to hear a wide range of local government entities, including foundations, regulators, accelerator programs, research centers and technology hubs, delivering messages to a select audience, and being willing to collaborate with international and local innovation products and services is what sets us apart from other events
– What are your future goals for 2022? Will there be any other events, meetings, or activities for those interested in innovation?
– We are collaborating with EmTech Week, which will be held in Davos during the World Economic Forum on May 21-26, 2022. There will be five events on different topics: metaverses, sustainability, biohacking, DeFi, and global finance. We are planning on having a summit dedicated to attracting outstanding women. The next Future Innovation Summit will occur in October in Dubai, themes to be announced later.
