Owners of Polygon wallets can get debit Mastercards and customize them with non-fungible tokens (NFT).
Polygon is building a platform for customers to use debit cards for Web 3.0. As part of the NFT Debit Mastercard release, the blockchain platform has partnered with a Web 3.0 neobank Hi.
Debit card users will be able to use crypto or fiat funds at 90 million merchants worldwide. NFT Debit Mastercard holders will also get the opportunity to customize cards with any Polygon-based NFT without having to pay for gas.
NFT Debit Mastercard is available in four options:
- Silver. A 5% cash back, 10,000 HI staked with a 20% APY.
- Gold. An 8% cash back, 100,000 HI staked with a 30% APY.
- Platinum. A 9% cash back, 1 million HI staked with a 30% APY.
- Diamond. A 10% cash back, 10 million HI staked with a 30% APY.
The number of decentralized applications (dApps) on Polygon is actively growing this year. The blockchain network aims to minimize fees on Ethereum with Nightfall, a new privacy-enhancing scalability solution.
