As usual, SBC Summit was held in Barcelona from September 19 to 21. The iGaming leaders gathered in the Fira Montjuïc exhibition complex to share experience, present new products, and make new beneficial partnerships.
This year, the organizers changed the layout of the exhibition, with payments & compliance services and affiliate & marketing solutions for the industry concentrated in the first hall, while the second hall housed casinos, betting, and gaming companies. The festival zone starting right behind the registration desks was also used for booths and networking.
Seven stages featured panel discussions, workshops, and keynotes. Industry representatives actively discussed the future of betting, the next generation of online casinos, entering new markets, and audience engagement.
Paris Smith, Pinnacle Sports Advisor, shared that the gaming, entertainment, sports, and media industries are constantly overlapping and competing, and companies should use this to their advantage. Given the changes in consumer behavior seen in the industry, businesses must stay on top of these trends and adapt to provide innovative experience.
“Strategic interaction between gaming and sports media can open up unprecedented opportunities in the future,” Paris Smith believes.
Several conference areas hosted streaming events where well-known Twitch streamers played slots in real-time and interacted with the audience. SBC Summit attendees could enjoy bars, food spots with different global cuisines (from Mexican to Japanese), and numerous giveaways with gifts and useful gadgets.
“The conference is big and exciting. There are representatives of the main directions we are interested in. There are both established partners and newcomers entering the market and a lot of noteworthy speeches from speakers,” shared Oleg Shapurko, SOFTSWISS Senior Business Development Manager.
The organizers claim that more than 20,000 people visited the event and over 350 companies presented their booths. CryptoProcessing by CoinsPaid was among them. The bright booth, decorated with dynamic videos and a comfortable area for communication, was located in the first hall, surrounded by representatives of payment and compliance solutions.
“Participation in exhibitions and other events is always productive,” said Victoria Mamedova, Business Development Manager at CoinsPaid. “In Barcelona, I met with long-time partners and communicated with new market players. I enjoy attending such major events because every day is full of activities. You feel pleasant fatigue and joy in the evening from the work done and understanding what results it will bring in the future.”
At the end of SBC Summit Barcelona 2023, the tenth SBC Awards ceremony was held — an award recognizing achievements in payments, marketing, and other services for the industry.
By the way, the next event the CoinsPaid and CP Media team will attend will be SiGMA Europe in Valletta, Malta from November 13-17.
