The Crypto Snack token has become the first cryptocurrency asset to appear in the new part of the legendary FIFA game. However, there is a nuance.

SNACK Becomes First Crypto Token in FIFA 23

The new part of FIFA’s AAA project went on sale on September 30, and the first crypto-asset appeared there, which is Crypto Snack. So far, it’ll only be available as a sponsor on Espanyol players’ kits.

As official sponsors of the LaLiga club RCD Espanyol, we work hard to maximize the potential of our collaboration. We aim to benefit both the community and the token. SNACK being the first ever token to appear in FIFA 23 is a huge step for the crypto ecosystem as a whole. Our logo on players’ kits can attract thousands of new participants to the project and will go down in crypto history,” Stuart Morrison, Head of Crypto Snack, commented for CoinsPaid Media.

Espanyol is a professional soccer club in the Spanish LaLiga based in Cornellà de Llobregat, a suburb of Barcelona. The club’s partnership with the Crypto Snack project became known at the beginning of September this year. The collaboration will last for three years. One of its clauses assumes that crypto payments in BTC, ETH, and SNACK (Crypto Snack’s token) will be accepted at Cornellà-El Prat stadium, the club’s home ground. The deal also includes placing Crypto Snack’s logo on the team’s uniform, which got the project into FIFA 23.

Crypto Snack is looking at expanding its presence in the gaming industry, as we firmly believe that cryptocurrencies will be the industry standard for in-game purchases,” Crypto Snack’s Head said. “Currently, FIFA only has credit card and PayPal options for in-game purchases. In the future, they’ll have to accept cryptocurrencies, and we’ll look to help them in that process through our partnership with CoinsPaid,” Stuart Morrison summarized.

As a reminder, Crypto Snack and its BNB Chain token SNACK are among the fastest-growing projects in iGaming. The project actively collaborates with CoinsPaid. Read more about it in our big interview with Crypto Snack founders.
