Taurus and Parfin joined forces to integrate digital assets into the infrastructure of traditional financial institutions, providing a unified solution for custody, trading, and tokenization.

Swiss FinTech company Taurus and Brazilian blockchain financial solutions provider Parfin announced a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating institutional adoption of digital assets in Europe and Latin America. Specifically, Taurus is integrating its Taurus-PROTECT and Taurus-CAPITAL solutions into the Parfin platform, creating a scalable and regulatory-compliant infrastructure for digital asset operations.
As a result of the integration, TradFi institutions will gain access to all key stages of working with digital assets: secure custody, governance policy compliance, token issuance, and lifecycle management. The infrastructure supports asset classes such as cryptocurrencies, tokenized securities, and digital currencies.
Key benefits for users:
- access to liquidity through Parfin’s trading infrastructure combined with custody and tokenization by Taurus;
- real-time wallet monitoring and trade execution via Parfin’s interface, with policy controls provided by Taurus;
- reduced operational and settlement risks thanks to a unified custody and trading infrastructure;
- fast integration via API with minimal resource expenditure;
- lower total cost of ownership by eliminating fragmented systems.
Through this integration with Taurus, Parfin acts as a universal infrastructure platform enabling management and coordination across various components of the digital financial ecosystem, suitable for banks, asset managers, and crypto firms.
The press release highlights that the Parfin platform remains independent of specific custody systems and supports the use of hardware security modules, allowing customization to client requirements for architecture and security.
According to Lamine Brahimi, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Taurus, the partnership with Parfin combines the best standards of security, governance, and compliance. Marcos Viriato, CEO of Parfin, noted that the integration with Taurus enhances their platform’s flexibility, enabling clients to tailor solutions to their specific needs.
A month earlier, Taurus introduced Taurus-NETWORK, an interbank network for interaction between TradFi institutions, designed to improve operational efficiency between financial institutions, reduce risks, and accelerate digital asset adoption in the banking industry.
