Tether to Integrate USAT Stablecoin on Rumble

Tether plans to integrate its U.S. dollar stablecoin USAT, issued in compliance with U.S. regulations, on video platform Rumble.

Tether Holdings SA, the world’s largest stablecoin issuer, intends to promote USAT in the U.S. market through integration with Rumble, Bloomberg reports. According to the publication, the video service will launch its own cryptocurrency wallet, which will support USAT as well as other stablecoins.

Rumble is a popular video hosting and streaming platform, considered one of YouTube’s main competitors. The project has about 51 million monthly users. In 2024, Tether acquired a controlling stake in Rumble (48%) for $775 million.

According to Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, the Rumble wallet will become a key growth tool not only for the new stablecoin but also for other company products, including tokenized gold. He emphasized that Rumble’s audience size is comparable to or even exceeds that of its U.S. competitors. Meanwhile, Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski noted that the new crypto wallet will symbolize the union of free speech and DeFi.

Bloomberg also highlighted that the current White House administration’s policies are giving additional momentum to the development of the U.S. stablecoin sector, where the recently adopted Genius Act now regulates the industry. Thanks to this regulatory shift, Tether, previously avoiding the U.S. market, recently launched USAT, primarily aimed at the domestic market. The partnership with Rumble is intended to strengthen the company’s position in this context.

Chris Pavlovski earlier announced cooperation with Tether on a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet, planned for launch in Q3 2025. In this context, it should be recalled that six months earlier, Tether released its Wallet Development Kit (WDK), an open-source toolkit for building non-custodial wallets, enabling integration into any app, website, or device.
