The first business breakfast was held on May 24 in Switzerland, in the picturesque city of Davos. The time and place for the event were chosen in connection with the annual World Economic Forum (WEF), held at the time. “Visitors attending the first event included venture capitalists, business angels, family offices, and people investing in technology companies. The location and proximity to such a serious event as the WEF was a great start for our series of meetings,” shared Yuri Rabinovich, Managing Partner at VNTR Capital.
The series of beneficial meetings between representatives of the investment community continued in New Delhi with a second business breakfast in the restaurant of the Roseate House Hotel. According to Gaurav Sharma, Head of VNTR Capital, 16 representatives from funds, business angels, and venture capitalists met on May 26 to discuss the syndicate for investing in fast-growing startup projects.
The event in Monaco, timed to coincide with the F1 Grand Prix, was the closing event. The business breakfast took place on May 28 in the lounge area of the Le Méridien Beach Plaza on the Ligurian seashore and was attended by 20 investors worldwide. Yuri Rabinovich admitted that the business events were productive: “Many follow-up meetings are planned for closer acquaintance and discussion of the real steps of cooperation.
