AI Startup from Georgia Became Web Summit 2022 Winner
Georgian AI project won first place in a pitch competition among startups at the recent Web Summit 2022.
Web Summit 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal, gathered over 70,000 attendees in early November. It’s one of the largest events dedicated to digital technologies, fully covering the Web 3.0 sphere and going far beyond it. It attracts not only a huge number of guests, but also leading representatives from business, finance, and government.
For instance, the 2022 event featured the following speakers:
- Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance;
- António Costa, Prime Minister of Portugal;
- Cathie Wood, Chief Investment Officer of ARK Invest, and many others.
More than 1,000 investors visited the event, with about 2,300 young companies presenting their innovative projects. The conference included a pitch competition for the most promising startups that a competent jury had selected. The winner was the Theneo platform, which uses artificial intelligence to create interactive API documentation.
“We already have more than 3,000 companies using us, and API documentations have been updated more than 500,000 times. No more excuses why your APIs aren’t documented or up-to-date,” Ana Robakidze, Founder of Theneo, said during the presentation.
The CoinsPaid team was also represented at the Web Summit, partnering with the exhibition. The event guests had the opportunity to learn more about CoinsPaid’s products. Then, an iPhone 14 was given away as a prize among participants who had fulfilled certain conditions.
