MetaMask’s Portfolio DApp is a decentralized app that simplifies the management of cryptocurrency assets stored in different blockchain networks.
Portfolio’s beta version is now available for users of the MetaMask crypto wallet. It provides cryptocurrency investors with convenient tools to manage digital assets stored in different blockchain networks. ConsenSys, which owns MetaMask, announced it on its blog.
Portfolio DApp users will be able to access their accounts across seven blockchain networks:
- Ethereum;
- Optimism;
- BNB Smart Chain;
- Polygon;
- Fantom;
- Abritrum;
- Avalanche.
Users will also be able to add other crypto wallets, including hardware ones, to handle cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFT).
Portfolio DApp provides an integrated look at its NFT collection, and the developers plan to add a market history and an estimated value of NFTs in the near future.
A separate version of the app is available for corporate users of MetaMask Institutional. Yesterday it also became known about MetaMask Institutional’s collaboration with the NFT Cobo service on introducing custodial functions for managing and storing non-fungible tokens. Such an initiative aims to create a universal platform for large corporations interested in digital asset investments. Previously, MetaMask has integrated with Apple Pay, allowing users to purchase cryptocurrencies via Apple’s payment app for fiat currency with their bank cards.
