Immutable’s partnership with payment provider Transak will provide gamers with a more efficient and convenient way to conduct digital asset transactions and allow them to use fiat funds for transactions in Web3 games.

Fiat in Web3 Games to Be Easier to Use for Gamers

Immutable, a blockchain gaming company, partnered with Transak, a leading payment provider in the Web3 space. The collaboration will expand the use of fiat funds for in-game transactions in GameFi projects.

The Transak service will be deployed in Immutable Checkout, a customizable interface for integrating various payment options in games, and Immutable Passport, a solution for automatic authentication of gamers and creation of a wallet for storing in-game assets.

According to Harshit Gangwar, Marketing Head of Transak, the service will not only simplify the use of fiat for in-game transactions but will also provide fast and cheap digital asset transfers. Specifically, the Transak service will exchange cryptocurrencies into fiat and vice versa and allow gamers to purchase NFTs using credit and debit cards via Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Michael Powell, Head of Product Marketing at Immutable, said that Transak will be implemented in the company’s three flagship Web3 games — Guild of Guardians, Gods Unchained, and Cross The Ages — in the first phase of the partnership. The company’s cooperation with Transak will also allow blockchain gaming developers to customize pricing in their projects, and players will have the opportunity to use over 160 fiat currencies and about 170 different cryptocurrencies on 75 blockchain networks to purchase in-game items.

It’s worth noting that the development of Immutable is positively reflected in the value of the IMX native token, whose quotes have been actively growing for two months. According to CoinGecko, IMX reached $2, its highest price of the current year, on the back of positive news.

Analysts predict active growth in the GameFi sector in the next six years. Its volume may reach $615 billion by 2030.
